This client and her Japanese husband are both high-income individuals living on the Gold Coast. They have always planned to buy another property for rental, with a budget range of approximately $400,000 to $450,000 for a Townhouse or Apartment. They were looking for a property with better security, newer facilities, and easy maintenance.
When searching for investment properties such as Townhouses or Apartments for our client, we pay special attention to the property’s Body Corporate Fee. Since this is an annual fee that needs to be paid, we try to find properties with lower Body Corporate Fees, preferably avoiding expensive maintenance costs like swimming pools or elevators.
This client appointed me as their Buyer’s Agent at the end of April, which coincided with the announcement of a pause in interest rate hikes. This attracted many eager investors who were actively searching for reasonably priced investment properties in the market. Finally, after about a month of effort, we successfully helped our client purchase a property in Zillmere for just over $400,000. The property has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 1 parking space. According to the Rental Appraisal, the expected rental income in the future is projected to be between $470 and $500 per week
